Morzine Les Gets in the summer

Morzine is
a lively, traditional mountain town in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.
It is a town in its own right and not just during the tourist season. It has a broad range of shops, restaurants, bars and 4 nightclubs. You can have an action packed holiday, mountain biking, canyoning, white water rafting, swimming, paragliding or just relax and enjoy the mountains. During the Summer Months the cable cars are open to transport you and your bikes to the top of the mountains. |

The chalet is well positioned for all of the pleasures
of an alpine holiday. The water fall pictured
on the right is 800m from the chalet.
Lac Min D'Or, pictured above and below is an ideal starting point for mountain walks.
The lake is also good for fishing and has a restaurant (only open in high season).
The town of Morzine, 2km from the chalet, has a large outdoor swimming pool, 16
tennis courts and an indoor ice skating rink. There is a good selection of
bars and restaurants

The chalet is a good base if you wish to wander further
a field. Montriond is a 10 minute drive and has a wonderful lake, with swimming
area (suitable for children, with lifeguards,) canoeing, archery & horse riding.
Lake Geneva, (Lac Leman), is a 30 minute drive. On the lake is Thonan Les
Bains which has an amazing swimming area on the lake with swimming pools, water
slides and restaurants. Next to Thonon is the famous spa town of Evian, very
stylish with a casino! There is a golf course in Les Gets which is a 10 minute
drive from the chalet, white water rafting in the river Dranse, a 20 minute drive
and the canyoning finishes 800m from the chalet at the waterfull pictured above.
